Distinguished fella, Ernie sure is handsome! Ernie is about 1 yr old, 55 lbs, and ready for anything you've got in mind! He spent his first year of life at the end of a chain, in the bitter cold, or sweltering heat, with no protection or affection, so his exuberance with this new life for him is heart warming! Everything is exciting and everyone is a new best friend! Still learning his manners, but loves treats and people and other dogs, so teaching is easy! Bring out the toys, and get ready for fun! Our volunteers says he does very well on his leashed walks, and he loves a nice, long car ride so he can get some nap time in. He's just discovered water and rivers, and of course, he had a blast! Happy-go-lucky Ernie just needs a family to call his own. Ernie is current on shots, microchipped and neutered. The fee to adopt is charged to recoup standard veterinary expenses.
