I am Ian. A fluffy and very playful boy who enjoys being held. I have a great purr which I will gladly use to put you to sleep. I smile a lot too. Guess because each day is great for me. I have been diagnosed with patella luxation. What is that you ask? Well, it does not stop me from chasing toys or playing with my friends. You see the patella, or "kneecap," is normally located in a groove called the trochlear groove, found at the end of the femur. The term luxating means "out of place" or "dislocated". Therefore, a luxating patella is a kneecap that 'pops out' or moves out of its normal location and then goes back in. I know it all sounds technical. This makes me run a bit funny. I do have to take it slow on the stairs, but I still go up and down the stairs. I like to play with the ball in the circle and carry around fuzzy toys. When my feet go out from under me, I get right back up and run some more. I look out the window and watch the birds. Foster Mommy has stairs so I can climb into bed at night and snuggle. We watch TV until we both go to sleep. I give a few kisses too. A good way to say good night.
