Babet (declawed all 4 paws ) Domestic Short Hair Eau Claire, WI

Babet is a 13-year-old spayed female that has had all four paws declawed. She is a very sweet girl with a dark rust colored classic tabby coat, and light caramel colored eyes. Poor Babet has had a bit of a rough time with upheaval in her life lately. Her previous owner, who was also her best friend, had moved to assisted living and there was no one to care for her. Since the first shock of ending up at the shelter, she continues to hid most of the time, but does snuggle with other cats that will join her. Babet will definitely need a quiet home where she can form a solid bond with her new owner. She is affectionate and enjoys being petted, brushed, and spending time on the lap of her special human, but will most likely always hide at first with strangers. Even though it is difficult for her, Babet is trying very hard to be brave while being surrounded by so much activity. She is not very playful, but makes up for that with her sweet personality. Babet is a wonderful girl that has captivated the hearts of shelter staff and volunteers alike. She is a bit of a chunky-monkey and is in need of a dental. If you think that she may be the perfect best friend for you, please ask a member of the staff to show her to you. Babet is anxious for a quiet home and would love to meet you!
