Baily (deaf) American Bulldog Mix Eau Claire, WI

Hello, my name is Baily and I am an American Bulldog mix. I was born on 07/24/16 and was the only survivor of my litter. I was born deaf, but please don't feel sorry for me because I am very happy with who I am, and I know for a fact that deaf dogs make amazing pets! I am an easy going sweetheart with the normal puppy energy that you would expect of any young dog. I am very smart, and I love one on one attention!! Deaf dogs are not harder to train, just different. A requirement of adopting me is that you take me to formal basic obedience training. Everyone there will fall in love with me, and I promise to be a star pupil. Raising a deaf dog will make you a far better dog owner because you will never stop using the hand signals for commands, and we will develop a stronger bond because of our enhanced eye contact. With positive reinforcement training there are no limits to the things that I can learn. I am already spayed, and my next rabies vaccination is not due until 01/19/18. I was surrendered to the shelter due to food aggression with children, so I will need a home without kids. I have not been around cats, and although I did well with the other dogs in my previous home, I did play rough with them. All puppies play rough until they learn to play gentle by hearing the other one yelp - I just need to learn that in a different way. I am a fantastic girl in need of a patient and experienced dog owner looking for a special forever companion, and I already love you!
