Meet Duke
Duke is a 2 year old male Boxer/German Shepherd mix. At 57 pounds Duke needs to gain some weight. He is a friendly boy who fell on hard times- he was relinquished when his owners lost their home. Duke is heart-worm positive and WBCR is committed to seeing him through his treatments.
Duke is very happy, friendly, and affectionate. Can you find room in your heart and home for him?
Duke's foster mother had this to say about him:
'Duke is a happy boy. He could use some basic training. We are starting to teach him some basic things like sit and lay down. He loves getting treats! Duke is very friendly and loves to go wherever his people go. Duke also likes sitting on your lap, following you around all day, and walks nicely on the leash; he would do well in any environment.'
His minimum adoption donation is $145 plus a $10 fee for rabies registration with McLean County Animal Control.
He has been neutered, microchipped, vaccinated, heartworm checked, dewormed, and is on flea and heartworm preventatives.
