It's raining cats in Medfield! In order to help our shyest cats find great homes we have dropped the adoption fee for shyer cats that have been with us over a month.

Ashton is an approximately 5-year-old kitty who was brought to us after a rescuer saved him from the streets of Mattapan. He had been taken refuge in the walk-out basement of an abandoned home, cold and wet. It is a wonder he made it. Definitely previously owned, only he knows how he ended up outside and alone. Since coming to us, though a little shy Ashton has made big progress. He has become a favorite with visiting Girl Scout troops who love to give him pats & scratches.
We are looking for an angel that will welcome a very handsome tiger into their lair and build his confidence.

If a cat is listed on our website, that means that cat is still available for adoption. The Shelter is staffed primarily by volunteers so adoption meetings take place on Saturdays from 11 - 1:00 during adoption hours, or by appointment. Our adoption fee for adult cats is $125. Our kitten adoption fee (cats up to 6 months old) is $160 for a single kitten or $260 for a pair. The adoption fee includes the first set of vaccines, dewormer, microchip, combo testing (for FeLV and FIV) and spaying/neutering when old enough.
