Meet BILLIE JEAN:: 2 years old, Spayed Female, Border Collie/Black Labrador Retriever mix, 45 pounds.

BILLIE JEAN is a such big lover! Friendly and sweet and eager to please, Billie Jean wants nothing more than to be pet and played with. She loves rope toys, tennis balls, and a variety of chew toys to keep her busy. Billie Jean is very well mannered in the home, also very intelligent and active and needs a family who can provide her with the mental stimulation and physical activity she needs.

She is excellent on a leash but can be reactive to other dogs on walks (barks and pulls, wants to play). Her foster mum is working on this with her and will need someone who will continue her progress. Billie Jean is house broken, crate trained, good with other dogs, good with kids, and seems to ignore cats.

She's settling in nicely in her foster home after being rescued from the shelter. Billie Jean is ready for her forever home!

Fenced yard required to adopt Billie Jean. Billie Jean has been known to hop over the fence at her foster's home to play with the neighboring dogs. Because of this, we prefer her adopters have a privacy fence or invisible fence reinforcement.

$95 adoption fee. Billie Jean is spayed, current on vaccines, heartworm tested negative, current on heartworm and flea prevention, microchipped, and dewormed.

Once your application is submitted, you will be redirected to a confirmation page on our website. This is your confirmation that we received your application. Please read the page thoroughly so you will know what to expect next in our adoption process.

Adoption events are held every Saturday in our thrift store from 1:00 to 4:00pm. Please complete your adoption application in advance so our volunteers have time to screen and contact potential adopters.

IMPORTANT: All applications are reviewed in the order they are received and qualifications are based on best fit for each individual pet. A volunteer will contact you if you are selected for a meet with adoptable pet. Final approval is always made in person.
