Booker Mixed Breed Grove City, OH

Howdy Y’all, my name is Booker and I am a neutered & microchipped 6 month old, freckled mix breed puppy that is up to date on my shots and I currently weigh about 25 pounds so I might be a bigger boy when I am all grown up. The humans say that I am deaf but I don’t need to hear to show you love like you’ve never seen before. My favorite things are to snuggle with my people, toys, sleep and food.
I should tell you up front that I was recently sprung from the doggie big house down in Houston, Texas. After a long transport I am now in what the humans call a foster home in Ohio (Columbus area), but I see it as a halfway house, (halfway between my former sad and scary life and my new happy and loving forever home life).
My probation officer (foster mom) says that I am very smart and learn new things pretty quickly. When I first arrived I didn’t know what they were trying to say to me, so I was always jumping, but now I am a good boy that knows how to sit when asked and I am learning to come when the signal is given. I am very good with my house training and have very few accidents; I even go all throughout the night without having an accident. The probation officer usually has to wake me in the morning, and I always wake up wagging my tail and giving kisses if her face is close enough. I really like all the other residents in my halfway house, both dogs and cats and they seem to like me too.
People are always saying that I look very concerned, but in all honesty, I am a very sweet and happy boy that just needs a chance with the right people.
