Meet Axle
Meet Axl.
We believe he was originally named for the car part, but we changed the spelling because HE’S A ROCK STAR.
Axl is a 7-year-old Beagle mix. He was turned in by his owner because the owner needed to enter a full-time nursing home and hadn’t been able to care for Axl for a while. So Axl came to us with a few problems that we could quickly correct. And now he is ready for his furever home.
Don’t let his unassuming look fool you, this dog is great. Axl is smart and loves working on learning commands even though he had no prior training. His foster mom has crate trained him and is working on important things like sit, come and side to side dancing. He gets along with everyone-- cats, dogs, kids, people. He’s a lover all around. His mom says the best word to describe him is “pleasant.” He’s a pleasant guy to have around, to take on a walk, or to give belly rubs.
So if you want a dog that is easy to deal with and loving in every sense, but you don’t want to deal with the hassles of puppydom, AXL is the guy for you.
