Duncan Domestic Short Hair Eau Claire, WI

Duncan is an 8-year-old neutered male that had lived in the same household his entire life. He was a great cat that they loved dearly, but as the family grew he became less tolerant of living with three very young children in a small house. They could tell that he was no longer happy and needed a different home, so they surrendered him out of love on 12/21/16. He does well with older, gentle children that understand cat behavior. Duncan is not an ordinary black cat as his coat has some white hairs here and there throughout his body, and those light green eyes of his will make you grin in awe. He is VERY friendly with strangers and loves to be loved. He even climbs up on your lap, gives hugs, and wants to rub his face on yours to let you know that he would like to be the next feline to find a forever home. He LOVES attention and thinks that being petted and give butt scratches is over the top awesome. He is talkative, and is confident with being held in your arms. Duncan does well with other cats, and in his previous home lived with a super mellow dog that ignored him. He is good with the litter box and knows what a scratching post is to be used for. When Duncan isn't playing with the other cats he likes to bat toy balls around, and loves wand toys and chasing laser light dots. He will be a wonderful companion for the lucky household that adopts him.
