Meet Hahn
Hahn (aka the pajama pup) came to Pitt Friends during the Hurricane Matthew aftermath. Hahn was seen chasing after a car that had just dumped him on the side of the road. The family that witnessed Hahn's desperate attempt to keep up with his "family" stopped and picked the little guy up and got him to us.
According to the vets at Animal Hospital, Hahn had one of the worst cases of demodex mange they had ever seen. Even though Hahn had been horribly treated, he was still a loving, sweet boy that craved human attention.
Hahn has not fully recovered from the mange, but he's far enough along that he's ready to be adopted. Hahn's adopter will need to provide a dose of Nexgard once a month for a year to completely clear up the mange.
Hahn is neutered, up to date on shots, and microchipped. Hahn has been working diligently on crate training and housebreaking and with a consistent routine in the adoptive home, he will adapt quickly. Please email pittfriends@yahoo.com for more information about Hahn.
