Just like the actress Betty White, our German Shepherd version is as gorgeous as they come. But the similarities don’t stop there. Just like Hollywood’s Betty White, ours is full of surprises too!
Poor Betty was found laying near a busy freeway outside of Phoenix and was assumed deceased. But, not so fast! Betty surprised everyone. Not only was Betty alive, she’s in pretty good condition and just needs to put on some weight. With some food, treats, lots of love and attention, we expect Betty to make a complete recovery and be ready for her forever home.
The vet estimates Betty is about six years old or so and so far, she appears to be very sweet girl. She just loves people and seems to get along fine with other dogs that are well mannered. Betty likely lived on the streets for a while and is very underweight. But at Saving Paws, we love nothing more than getting these dogs healthy again with some good quality food to get her healthy and strong.
We’d love for Betty to have her own Hollywood happy ending by getting her own forever family. This sweet girl may have had a rough go of it lately, but she’s got lots of life and love in her for the right family!

We will only schedule meet and greets with an approved application! All staff members are volunteers and are not compensated for their time and expenses. Many juggle family and full-time careers while volunteering at Saving Paws. Please be patient as sometimes it takes up to 5 days to process an application.
