Callie Hound & Cattle Dog Mix Grove City, OH

Hi, my name is Callie but my foster mom calls me Callie Gal. I am approximately a 4 month old, Deaf, Blue Tick Hound mix. I am going to be a bigger girl and I have personality to spare, I love all other dogs, cats and people. I LOVE my people and don’t like to be away from them but I am crate trained and calm down fairly quick, I also sleep through the night in my crate. I have been working very, very hard on my hand signals and am doing really well with sit, down, wait and come. I also understand the “No” command but I am not a fan of it and I will tell you that I don’t like it, as I can be quite vocal at times. I am also trying my best to not potty in the house, although once in a while I do still forget, when I am playing with my friends. I really like to play with other dogs, and have no fear if they are bigger than me. I am a very silly girl and will make you laugh every day with my antics and facial expressions. Foster mom says that I am a very pretty girl with my two different colored eyes but most people think I am a boy. I don’t care as I cannot hear what they are saying to me anyway. If I could pick my perfect home, it would be one with another dog that I can play with a nice yard that I can run around in, but most importantly, I would love to have a snuggle partner since I always want to be near my person whether it is in your lap, sitting next to you on the couch or lying next to you in the kitchen, I don’t care where we are as long as I am with you.
