Bruce (Longest Resident) Domestic Short Hair Eau Claire, WI

Bruce is a 1-and-1/2-year-old neutered male that was brought to the shelter as a stray on 12/15/16. Bruce has spent time in a foster home.This is what his foster mom has to say about him: Bruce is a very healthy young cat. He is not finicky and good about using the litter box. He seems shy at first but once he gets a chance to look around he is very outgoing. He does best if he is allowed to approach things on his own. He will hide and then sneak down the hall and peek around the corner a couple of times. After he decides it's alright he will come out. He is hiding less and coming out quicker the longer he is here. His two favorite places to sleep are in my lap or on the foot of the bed. He is very playful. He play bites but is very gentle and doesn't use his claws. I think he would be really great with kids. He hasn't had a chance to play with my grand kids but he likes to be picked up and hugged and doesn't mind having toy cars ran over him. He is OK with dogs. His only bad habit is stealing small things to play with. I have doll house miniatures and have had him fish a couple things out of boxes. He stays off the kitchen counter but got on the kitchen table but had not been told he shouldn't. Bruce is a fun cat that would do well in any home where he has a playmate.
