Amber's puppies are finally all adopted and now she's ready for a family to call her own. She's a calm, sweet, gentle 1 yr old Shep/Heeler mix who is smart as can be. She's super eager to please, and loves treats so training has come easy to her. She used to open doors on her own, but has learned that's not such a good idea! She's house trained, has good recall, loves other dogs and is great with dog-savvy cats. She'd love to play with the kitties, but they're not that keen on the idea! Leashed walks are a breeze with her, and she'd love as many of those as you can handle. Amber would be happiest in a home with another playful dog, or at least play dates. Also, an active home where she can go on hikes and walks, and car rides. She's a wonderful girl and will make someone a great forever companion. Amber is current on shots, microchipped and spayed. The adoption fee for Amber is $205. The fee to adopt is charged to recoup standard veterinary expenses. Since many of our dogs are in foster, it's best to let us know if you'd like to come to the Hukari Animal Shelter in Odell - 3910 Heron Dr, Hood River OR 97031 - so we can have the dog onsite.
