Meet Jake
Meet Jake, an 11-12 year old male Jack Russell Terrier. He came to us when his owner died. Jake weighs 15.6 pounds and is blind. This cute guy is very friendly, cuddly and sweet. He will make a wonderful companion for some lucky someone. Jake needs to go to a home with no other dogs and with kids over the age of 12.
Jake's foster mother had this to say about him:
'Jake is blind, but manages to learn new places with ease. He loves to get love and will nudge if he thinks he needs attention. Jake also loves being outside and enjoys playing with toys, chewing, sitting on your lap, follows you around all day, is friendly, adaptable, happy, and quiet. Jake would do well in any environment.'
His minimum adoption fee is adopter's choice plus a $10 fee for rabies registration with McLean County Animal Control.
He has been neutered, microchipped, vaccinated, heartworm checked, dewormed, and is on flea and heartworm preventatives.
