Madea is an elegant-looking spayed female with a shiny coat highlighted by yellow/green eyes. She was 8 months old when she was brought to the shelter as a stray on 11/29/16. She is friendly and playful, but is also independent and still wants things her way. She has an instant purr and loves to be petted, however, when she has decided that she has had enough, you need to know to let her go because she has not yet learned to be patient. Madea will do best in a home without small children that may not understand her ways. Adjusting to the life of being a shelter kitten was difficult for this shy and scared girl, but she has come a long way in learning to be gentle, confident, and brave. Like most kittens Madea LOVES toys, especially if she can toss them in the air. She is fast and will make you laugh as she spins around and bats at them with gusto. This black beauty needs a home where she can run around at full speed and ware herself out. She is a busy girl with not much to do at the shelter.
