Dahlia Domestic Short Hair Eau Claire, WI

Dahlia is a very pretty 2-year-old spayed female with a dilute coat and light gold eyes. She was found as a stray and surrendered to the shelter on 11/09/16. Dahlia is fearful of dogs, and although she did tolerate other cats in her previous home, she would much rather be your one and only pet. She is very affectionate and enjoys being petted, groomed, and spending time on your lap, but is also independent enough to where she is not demanding of all your time. Dahlia does not like to feel trapped, so she is confident in your arms as long as she isn't held tightly, and knows that she will be able to move on to doing other things when she wants to. She is laid back and quiet most of the time, but can be very talkative when she feels that there is something that you need to know. Dahlia does well with older children. She is excellent with the litter box and knows what a scratching post is to be used for. Dahlia will do best in a home that can shower her with love, and will cherish her as a loyal and loved member of your family.
