Jordan Terrier Mix Eau Claire, WI

Hi, my name is Jordan, and I will do best in a quiet home without small children. I am a very sweet three-year-old neutered male that loves attention and will give you kisses once I know you, but I must admit that I am shy and a little leery of humans at first. I was brought to the shelter as a stray on 12/02/16 and appreciated all of the good care, but it took time for me to adjust to what was happening to me. Becoming a shelter resident was so different from anything that I had ever experienced. I was really scared and didn't like anyone touching my neck or head. Everyone was very kind and went slow with me, and now I look forward to going on walks, and although I may always be a bit head-shy, I LOVE belly-rubs and butt scratches. I know sit, and I am great on leash!! I love the great outdoors and going for long walks with you is my favorite time of the day! A home with a fenced in yard would be great because I love to play and ball toys seem to be my favorite. I am a Terrier mix and will need to be neutered before I can go home with you. If you don't see me when you visit the shelter, I may be on a more quiet side of the building.
