Henry Great Dane & American Bulldog Mix Springfield, MO

For most, a baby brings big smiles and happiness. For me, a baby brought sadness, confusion, and loneliness. You see my name is Henry and I have been in foster care now for a couple years. I ended up here through no fault of my own. My original humans decided that since they were having a new human baby, it was time for their fur-baby to go. So here I am...a 9 year old, 100lb. Great Dane/Bulldog mix on the search for a new home to call my own where my new humans will never give up on me.
I'm actually pretty lucky, because this new home is going to be my favorite! I am a homebody and really enjoy hanging out with my person. It would be really cool if my new human was home with me most of the time. I get along with cats, but other dogs weird me out, so I would love to be your only canine buddy. I like kids, but since I'm so large, older respectful kids may be a better fit for my strength and size. I'm a strong fella and would thrive with an equally strong owner. My absolute favorite thing to do with my friends is to go on walks! I'm great on a leash and oh my all those wonderful smells and sights! I just love it! I may be a senior but I can play fetch like any of those little whipper snappers. My motto...play hard, nap harder.
