Gelato Australian Shepherd Grove City, OH

This sweet little guy is an approximately 11-week-old Aussie boy named Gelato. His unique black/white markings and speckled rear legs make him look like he's wearing spotted pants. He is deaf and somewhat vision impaired but easily follows your legs around the house and romps around with his foster brother. Although he's still working on potty training, he faithfully goes on the puppy pads and not the rugs, and will go right away when he's taken outside. He's not a fan of being crated but all the fun things he finds in his crate are starting to change his mind. Of course, if you want him to be your sleeping buddy, he is happy to oblige. He enjoys rawhides, toys, and learning tricks for treats. (Sit is easy for a smart guy like me although I am really excited when I smell the treats.) He learned to go down steps on his own because he didn't like being left behind. All he wants is to be with you or a buddy and in on the fun.
