Izzy Domestic Short Hair Eau Claire, WI

Izzy is an 8-year-old spayed female that was surrendered to the shelter on 11/12/16. Her previous owner was a senior that became ill and was no longer able to care for his loyal companion and best friend. Izzy is doing her best to be brave until the perfect forever home falls in love and adopts her. Izzy has a very pretty torbie coat highlighted by green eyes. Torbies are tortoiseshell cats with a tabby pattern. She is a bit shy when there are a lot of strangers in the room, but seems to take comfort in being with other homeless Eau Claire County Humane Association cats. Izzy is mellow and enjoys spending quality time on your lap being petted, and loves having her head gently massaged and her neck scratched. She offers a beautiful, soothing, instant purr of contentment, which leaves you knowing that you have made her day a little brighter. Izzy is content with being held in your arms, and loves to be talked to. She is curious about everything that moves around her and her favorite toys are catnip mice, and wand-toys that are being dangled from above or made to slowly move across the floor.
