Chace ( lap cat ) Domestic Short Hair Eau Claire, WI

Chace is a large neutered male that was brought to the shelter as a stray on 11/01/16. He was dehydrated and looked a little withered, weathered, and worried. The shelter was pretty overwhelming for him with all of the new noises, strangers, and sounds of other cats meowing, but he sure was glad to be warm, fed, and treated kindly. Now that he is feeling better and realizes that he is in a safe place his true personality is shining as bright as his yellow eyes. He has a shiny black coat and loves nothing more than to camp on your lap to be petted, talked to, scratched, and brushed. Chace may have had a bad experience during his time as a stray because he definitely DOES NOT do well with dogs. He chases them around and attacks them! Chace is looking for a quiet, peaceful, and loving home where cats are cherished family members and would welcome the company of other cats in the household. He loves to sleep and be the center of attention; he would be great for a retired couple where he could lay on someone's lap for hours. Yes, he is a mellow and lazy fellow that enjoys quiet times and togetherness. This awesome, vocal, lover boy is 2-and-1/2-years-old and seems to know that black cats are the most difficult to find homes for.
