Pixie Terrier Mix Eau Claire, WI

Hi There! My name is Pixie, and I am a 1-year-old spayed female Terrier mix. I am mostly white with just enough brown to make you smile, and small soulful eyes that will melt your heart. My short coat requires a minimum amount of grooming, and I am a petite girl for my breed. I was brought to the shelter as a stray on 11/11/16. I am somewhat shy and timid at first, but I warm up very quickly. I am a sweet girl and quite easy-going. I know sit and shake, and did an excellent job on ALL of my shelter safer tests. I take treats gently and would love to learn more obedience commands and maybe a few tricks. I keep my kennel clean which is a good sign that I am most likely housebroken. Some of the dogs around me are kind of scary to me, so I feel the need to bark at them, but I was brought in with another dog, so I obviously do get along with some dogs very well. My friend has been adopted, and I sure hope that I will be chosen soon too. I am a happy girl, but would be even more happy if you would stop at the shelter to meet me. Before you adopt me, please check with your landlord and renter's insurance company or your homeowner's insurance company to make sure that they do not discriminate against my breed.
