Lizzy is a stunning 2-and-1/2-year-old female with a bright calico coat and round yellow/green eyes. She knows that she is a pretty princess and spends a lot of time keeping herself clean and looking gorgeous. Her coat is bunny soft, and the unique rings of calico colors on her short tail are especially interesting. Lizzy is a wonderful cat that is intelligent, a little mischievous, and can be very playful. She had lived in the same household since birth, and was raised with a dog and other cats. her previous owner became ill and had to move from a country home to an apartment and the landlord didn't allow pets. Lizzy is shy of strangers at first, but if you go slow and give her a few minutes to get to know you better, you will soon hear her beautiful purr of contentment, and she will gladly show you her true affectionate and friendly personality. Lizzy came from a quiet home, but may also enjoy a larger family with feline experienced gentle children to lavish her with love and play-time. Lizzy loves toys and enjoyed a tunnel that she had in her previous home. When Lizzy arrived at the shelter on 07/02/16 she was ready to have kittens, and raised them in a foster home. She was a fantastic mom to her two kittens, and is now ready for a forever home of her own. She knows what a scratching post is to be used for, and although she has been known to chew plants, she is very smart and understands what NO means. As much as she loves attention, if you are having a busy day. Lizzy is independent enough to keep herself busy without being demanding of your time. What a great cat!
