Hello, my name is Emma Lee. I was brought to the shelter as a stray, and must admit that at first I was very nervous and scared about being a shelter resident. Now that I have come to realize that everyone is looking out for me and that they all love me, I am feeling much more at ease. I am a charming female Shih Tzu and ten years old. That is a bit more mature than many of the other dogs here at the shelter, but if you have a quiet household that makes me an even better match for you. I am very sweet and can offer you a great deal of companionship and love. I have a mellow, easy-going personality that warms the depths of your heart. I am a very good friend that loves car rides and going for walks and I enjoy listening to anything you would like to talk about. I am a relaxed companion that is ready to enjoy my golden years listening to good music with you, taking short naps on your lap, and keeping you company as you go about your day. I appreciate all of the attention that comes my way, and would love to become your best friend and treasured pet forever. Note: I have dry eyes and will need drops put in them for the rest of my life. I also have a mammary tumor commonly found in older unsprayed dogs. I will need this taken care of along with being spayed and having a dental done before going home with you.
