Edward Domestic Short Hair Eau Claire, WI

Hi! I'm Edward, a 2-and-1/2-year-old domestic short hair orange tabby. I was brought to the shelter with what looked like chemical burns on my paws/chest and have been healing in a foster home for some time now, and am ready for my new family! I am very social, playful, smart, and extremely affectionate. I love being around people, and usually greet my foster people at the front door with a loud meow when they come home. Some of my favorite toys are tennis balls, fake mice, and hands; I am careful with my claws when playing, but sometimes forget that my teeth are sharp. As energetic as I can be, I would really enjoy cuddling next to you or curling up on a lap and getting a nice neck scratch. I also love fresh air and bathing in the sun, so I would really appreciate a family that would spend time outside with me. As much as I love people, I wouldn't do well in a home with other cats. As for dogs, if the dog isn't too overwhelming, it just takes some time for me to warm up. My foster mom lived with a dog and after a few days of hissing I started to come around and we became the best of friends. Right now you won't find me at the shelter, but if you want to meet me, talk to the staff at the front desk and request for my foster mom to bring me in. We want to alert you that some communities, landlords, management companies, and insurance agencies have size and breed restrictions, limits on number of pets, and/or require pet deposits or additional fees.
