Meet Charlie

Charlie is a 13 year old Cockatiel searching for a home with another cockatiel to keep him company. He originally was used as a breeding bird and then was placed in a home with an elderly cockatiel companion, who unfortunately passed away. When his family had some marital and financial problems, Charlie had to be placed into a foster home. Charlie continues to wait to be adopted into the right home. He has no desire to be hand-tamed, although he does enjoy singing and whistling at his foster mom, who admits being whistled at every morning is good for her ego. Although his cage is left open every day, he shows no desire to come out and play on the play area available to him on the top of his cage. When placed there, he climbs back into his cage. Charlie is a bird set in his ways, but does long for a bird companion to spend his senior years with and hopes somewhere out there a cockatiel has the same desire.
