Pocahontas Labrador Retriever Eau Claire, WI

Hi Everyone! My name is Pocahontas, and I am a beautiful 1-year-old female Labrador Retriever. My shiny black coat is easy to care for, and my pearly white teeth match a splash of white on my chest. Mid-August I was rescued off the street and brought to the shelter as a stray. Everyone here has been very surprised that my previous owner didn't come to claim me. I know they loved me, so I am sure that they just didn't think about looking for me here at the shelter. I will do best in a busy household that will play with me, and will take me for plenty of long walks. Perhaps I could be your new jogging partner - that sounds like fun! I am polite on leash, and the volunteers love spending time with me because I am adorable, confident, fun, energetic, and I like to cuddle. I already know sit, and I hope to be adopted by a family that will teach me more commands, so that I will always know how to be a well-behaved member of your household. I will need to be spayed before being allowed to go home with you, which can take a few days to set up, so please stop over soon to visit with me. I already love you!
