Kevin Labrador Retriever Mix Eau Claire, WI

Hi There! My name is Kevin. I am a neutered male Labrador Retriever mix that has found myself in need of a new home. I am 2-and-1/2-years-old, housebroken, easy-going, and looking for an active family that will take me on long daily walks, will play with me, cuddle with me, and cherish me forever. You might notice that my fur is wet in my pictures. That is because when it was much warmer outside, a wonderful employee here at the shelter took me to the pool for a fun day, and Boy did I ever have fun!! I did great with the other dogs and strangers. Everyone here at the shelter keeps telling me that I am a very good boy, so it must be true. I always try my best to be polite on leash in hopes that my walkers will spend a little extra time with me, and I think it's working. They even give me an extra treat when putting me back in my kennel. I did well with the children that I lived with in my previous home, but I am a little protective, and was surrendered to the shelter because I had shown some signs of aggression toward some other children. I have been VERY friendly towards everyone that I have met here, so I am not quite sure what I did wrong. I have not had formal obedience training, but I do know sit, which is a good start. I would love to spend time with you and learn more of the basic commands - especially if there are treats involved. Please stop over soon and ask to visit with me because I sure miss the comforts of having a home and humans to love. I want you to be my best friend for life.
