Cadence (declawed front paws) Domestic Short Hair Eau Claire, WI

Cadence is a glamorous 1 year old spayed female that has been a resident of the shelter since 7/15/16. She has a cover-girl gorgeous grey tabby coat, highlighted by 4 white paws, and blue green eyes that are begging for a loving forever home. Cadence has had her front paws declawed, and will do well in most households. She is very leery of dogs and would prefer a home without them, but she does well with cats, and wouldn't mind having another feline to play with. Cadence is a lap cat extraordinaire, loving nothing more than to cuddle in your arms or sleep the afternoon away on your lap. She is all about being petted, and then being petted some more as she purrs away, closes her eyes, and melts into you! Cadence would love to have a cat tree near a window, as her favorite hobby is watching birds, squirrels, and other critters go about their day. She is not quite as confident as some cats, and may be shy around strangers at first, but once she gets to know you, it is quite a different story. She just doesn't like to jump into new situations with all four paws a blazing. Cadence is definitely a favorite of staff and volunteers alike. What a great cat!
