Kordo Labrador Retriever Mix Eau Claire, WI

Hi There! My name is Kordo. On 7/09/16 I found myself lost and wasn't sure what to do, but someone rescued me off the street and brought me here. I am being well cared for, and everyone thought for sure that my previous owner would come to get me, but they didn't think about looking for me here, so I must now find a new home. I am a much lighter than normal, Yellow Labrador Retriever mix, with absolutely gorgeous light gold eyes that will melt your heart. I am a male, and was about 8 months old when I became a shelter resident. I have not been neutered, so that will need to be taken care of before I will be allowed to go home with you. I did excellent on all of my shelter safer tests, as I knew I would. However, I will do best in an active household without small children, because I still need to learn to calm down and not jump up on people. A home with older kids would be fine. A home with a fenced in yard where I could run like the wind, and we could play and have fun learning new things would be a dream-come-true. Because I am under a year old, one of the requirements of adopting me is that you must take me to basic obedience training. That really sounds exciting to me and I can hardly wait to get started. I love people, I am confident, smart, I already know sit, I take treats gently, and I LOVE car rides. I am still a bit excitable on leash at first, but I am becoming more and more polite every day. How about stopping over to meet me!!! We could spend some time together, and I could show you how awesome I am.
