Meet Autumn
Autumn is a beautiful, 1 year old, medium-sized black kitty who comes to us as a rescue from Hardin County Animal Shelter and is one of many we will be taking from them to try and help ease their load. Autumn is an FIV (Feline Aids) positive cat. This means that she needs to be your only cat unless you are planning to, or already have other FIV positive cats. Autumn does like the company of other kitties and FIV can't be passed to dogs.
Now with all that out of the way let me actually tell you a bit about this sweetheart. Autumn loves playing with toys and in her eyes just about anything and everything is a toy. While she'll happily play with toys all day long, she prefers to make a game out of it and that's where you'd fit in purrfectly. Autumn likes to fetch toys and really enjoys sharing her favorite pastime with others. It seems like the more things you throw for her to fetch the happy she is and this is a fun way to burn off some of Autumn's extra energy.
Autumn loves to cuddle and give kisses, but sometimes she gets overstimulated and doesn't quite know what to do, but she is learning and getting more gentle all the time. Autumn is a very cool kitty and if she wasn't FIV Positive she probably would of already found her forever home. She's heard that we do pretty well adopting kitties like her and is staying positive.
Adoption Fees: $60 for Cats, $85 for Dogs
All our pets are spayed, neutered, and up-to-date on all shots. Our dogs have been tested and are presently on Heartworm prevention. The Animal Refuge Center has these and many more pets waiting for a good home. Note: The Animal Refuge Center has a "No-Declaw" policy. Our cats are too old to be declawed without risk of serious behavioral problems.
