Meet Calypso

Calypso is a stunning 1 year old spayed female that was brought to the shelter as a stray on 5/28/16. The alluring beauty of her silky black fur and light green eyes are sure to grab your attention. You will also notice a splash of white on her chest as if she is wearing a necklace. Calypso is a petite lady with a soft, affectionate purr. She is definitely a favorite with many members of the staff and volunteers - she is also a sponsored pet. If you like playful cats, Calypso would be a great choice, as she will play with just about any type of toy. She is confident, entertaining, adventurous, and can also be quite the talker when she is trying to tell you something that is important to her. Calypso has a current rabies vaccination certificate that will not expire until 6/07/17, so she is ready and waiting to become your new best friend. Calypso may do best in a home without other cats. She did not do well in our colony room, where cats run free together, but may have just been overwhelmed with the number of other cats that surrounded her in there.
