Mavis Domestic Short Hair Eau Claire, WI

Mavis is a beautiful young spayed female that was found as a stray and surrendered to the shelter on 4/21/16. She was scared and pregnant, so Mavis was sent to a foster home to raise her family. She was a fantastic mother to her kittens, and now it is time for her to take the next step in finding a fantastic forever home for herself. Mavis has a pretty brown ticked tabby coat (a ticked coat is a type of fur characteristic of wild rabbits or squirrels which is comprised of hair strands with bands of various colors) and gorgeous light green eyes. Other, more unique features about Mavis is that her ears are tipped in black, and she has cute cheetah like spots on her tummy. Mavis is estimated at being around a year old, so her frisky and playful personality is sure to entertain you for many years, but raising a family has taught her patience as well. Mavis LOVE, LOVE, LOVES being petted, and seems to enjoy those long pets that start at her head and end at the tip of her tail. If you stop and she isn't ready for that, she will lean into you hard begging for more attention, or perhaps she is buttering-you-up in hopes of being adopted. Mavis seems to have it all - busy and talkative, but also melts in your arms soaking up all the love that comes her way.
