My name is Mikko and I would love to meet you! Just ask for me at the front desk and they will bring me out to see you, as I am currently enjoying time on a more quiet part of the building. I am a 1-and-1/2-year-old Akita in need of an experienced owner that is familiar with my breed. I will need a home without cats, other dogs, or small children. I am a male that has not been neutered, and like all of the unaltered dogs here at the shelter, I will need to have that done before I will be allowed to go home with you. My grey and black coat is so plush and shiny that you will find yourself petting me all the time, and I will love every minute of it. I am very playful, and so far tug is my favorite game. I have been working on being more polite on leash, and I still have a ways to go, but I am getting better and better every day. One of the requirements of adopting me is that you take me to basic obedience training classes. I am very smart, and this sounds like a great way for us to bond and have fun.
