Nemo is a 1 year old neutered male that was brought to the shelter as a stray on 5/26/16. He has a handsome buff tabby coat, and affectionate ways that are impossible to ignore. Nemo may start out by leaning and rubbing on you begging for attention; when you pick him up you will instantly hear a quiet purr of happiness and contentment which is sure to give you that warm feeling inside. You will know that you made his stay at the shelter a little better. Soon, his front paws will start to knead as if he zoned out and went into auto pilot. This is also known as making biscuits because the action resembles someone kneading dough. Nemo is a lover, but also enjoys play-time with dangly toys (especially if they have a human attached to the other end) and catnip toys. Nemo has been known to give gentle love bites when he has been over stimulated. This is how many cats communicate to you that it's all just a little too much and they need a break. Nemo will do best in a quiet home with adults or older children that can understand this behavior. He is a very sweet and mellow fellow that misses the comforts of having a home with a family that loves him.
