Jack is such an awesome dog!! Jack is just about a year old, 80 lbs, and was surrendered after living his short life on a chain, and basically being ignored, so everything was exciting and wonderful for this big pup! Especially squeaky toys! But, he had no manners and was sometimes difficult to handle, and always jumping up on everyone and everything. Fast-forward a few weeks, and Jack is still as sweet as ever, but he's learned some great manners and loves practicing! And by practicing, we mean, keep the treats and toys handy, and he'll do anything! We've discovered that Jack loves to be a running buddy! He stays at a good pace, soft leash, focused, and can go the distance! He also loves car rides, and plays with his rope toy, or squishy toy almost the whole time! He loves other dogs and is learning play manners, but it's still a work in progress! He's come a long way and is really doing very well! Not a mean bone in his body, but he's fast and happy, and stand back! He'd love to go an active home where he can get some good hikes in, and plenty of play time. Oh! And don't forget the back scratcher! He loves getting a good scratch on the back, or belly rub! Jack is current on shots, microchipped and neutered. The adoption fee for Jack is $205. The fee to adopt is charged to recoup standard veterinary expenses.
