Meet Sparkles

Sparkles is a 1-and-1/2-year-old spayed female with a beautiful calico tabby coat and glimmering apple green eyes. She was brought to the shelter as a stray on 4/19/16, and although she is happy to have shelter and food, this is a difficult place for semi-shy felines like herself. Sparkles tolerates other cats, but if one runs up to her too quickly, or she feels threatened in the least, you will see her beat a hasty retreat to a quiet place of comfort. She feels that when in doubt, it is better to err on the side of caution. Sparkles is a very friendly girl that is doing her best to be brave until a forever home can be found. She loves being petted and dreams of the day when she becomes your cherished forever pet. Sparkles is very alert to everything that is happening around her, and is looking forward to meeting you soon.
