Cricket ( at PetSmart ) Domestic Short Hair Eau Claire, WI

Cricket is a 2 year old spayed female that was surrendered to the shelter on 5/07/16. She had been left behind when renters moved out. The first thing you will notice about Cricket is the brightness of her beautiful green/yellow eyes. They are so bright that you will think they are lit up from within. She is a very mellow girl that loves to cuddle in your arms as she is being petted. Cricket also enjoys sitting and sleeping on your lap, as well as having her chin and belly rubbed. At times she will roll over on her back begging for just a little more attention, which she has discovered works very time. In her previous home she lived with a dog, other cats, and children. Cricket prefers adults over kids, but will tolerate children. She is a talkative girl and loves people in general. She is very curious about everything, but is not at all destructive. Cricket is having a difficult time being a resident of the shelter, and has been quite overwhelmed by all of the noise and other animals that she can see from her kennel. We can comfort her with kindness and cuddles, but what she really needs is a gentle home where she will be a cherished member of the family, and adored forever.
