MEET SNICKERS!!

This is Snickers! He is a 1 year old 15 lb burst of dachshund Australian shepherd energy! Snickers is deaf and has some vision, but that doesn't stop him from keeping up with his foster brother and sister! Snickers definitely has all the sass of a dachshund and all the spunk and bouncy energy of an Aussie puppy.
Since Snickers is deaf he is learning hand signal obedience training and loves working for treats. His Aussie half is very motivated and would need to have some type of "job" whether it be agility, barn hunt or earth dog just to name a few!
Snickers would do best in an active family with another larger brother or sister with whom he can romp around with; but willing to snuggle on the couch as well. Snickers does have some resource guarding tendencies and will need an understanding and patient mom and dad as well as brother or sister who is willing to help him continue to learn how to share.

Being deaf, sometimes Snickers does not know how loud his little self can be, so he would do better in a house rather than an apartment setting. Snickers is neutered, up to date on vaccines and current on his flea and heartworm prevention.
