Meet Chantilly ( lap cat )

Chantilly is a lovely 2 year old spayed female that was brought to the shelter as a stray. She does well with other cats as well as dogs and children of all ages. She is a WONDERFUL cat, very loving! Chantilly is frisky and loves to explore every corner available to her, and is not at all shy about telling you all about her adventures. Her least favorite thing is car rides to the point of drooling, and her favorite thing is being with you as you give her all the attention you have time for. Her black and white tuxedo coat is velvety soft with unique markings. You will notice that she has very cute prancing movements. That is because she has something wrong neurologically that causes a sway/high stepping of the back legs, occasionally high steps with front legs as well. She gets around great, eats fine, uses the litter box fine, jumps on the bed, and can go down stairs. It's hard to know what the cause is. Tilly could be a mild case of cerebellar hypoplasia or another developmental condition. Chantilly is special in her movements, but is a completely normal, loving cat in all other ways.
