Maverick Boxer & Terrier Mix Normal, IL

Birthdate approximately January 1, 2016. Hello, world! Let me introduce myself. I'm Maverick! I am a Boxer/Terrier mix and I love to play - especially with toys and enjoy chewing on treats - these makes me so happy. I started running into things at my foster moms' home, so we went to see an eye doctor. Turns out I am completely blind, but the doctors say I am adjusting to it very well! I'm still pretty adorable and have a lot of love to give to my new person! Could it be you?

Maverick's foster mother had this to say about him:

'Maverick is a great dog! The one thing that we are working on with him is house-training. He still goes inside the house and not sure if he doesn't know outside from inside since he is blind. Other than house-training, he gets along with other animals and people. He wanted to smell my cat and that was about it since he couldn't see her. He sleeps with my son every night and Maverick doesn't like to be left alone. I would crate him and he would cry when I left. Maverick is a friendly, adaptable, happy, and playful dog. He would do well in a home where there is lots of activity plus having one of his family there all the time with him.'

My minimum adoption donation is the adopter's choice plus a $10 fee for rabies registration with McLean County Animal Control (McLean County residents).

I will be neutered prior to adoption, have been microchipped, vaccinated, fecal checked, dewormed, and am on flea and heartworm preventatives.
