Beau Labrador Retriever Normal, IL

Hi, I'm Beau! I'm a 2-year old Labrador Retriever. I am 70 pounds of love and joy! I was found in a corn field as a stray and I'm so happy to have a warm, dry place to sleep. Now all I need is my forever home!

Beau's foster mom said the following about him:

"Beau loves to get his neck and hind quarters scratched; he also wiggles and whines and his tail wags 90 mph. My other dog tried to mount him and he did not like that, but gave a warning bark/snap and no further aggression. Beau rarely barks and does not like his kennel, so we let him out (he was barking a lot) and left him in a closed bedroom. He did not bark and slept quietly on the floor. No accidents and no chewing! Beau was timid at first, but really opened up after spending the first night at our house. I don't think he's ever had to deal with stairs because he seemed very confused by them at first. He seems very sweet and loyal. Beau would do well in any environment and enjoys car rides. Warning: Loves to chase squirrels. Hang on tight to his leash!"

My minimum adoption donation is $245 plus a $10 fee for rabies registration with McLean County Animal Control.

He has been neutered, microchipped, vaccinated, heartworm and fecal checked, dewormed, and is on flea and heartworm preventatives.
