Jazz Labrador Retriever & Golden Retriever Mix Eau Claire, WI

Hi, my name is Jazz and I am a Labrador Retriever/Golden Retriever mix. My previous owner was moving and couldn't take me with, so here I am in need of a new forever home. I am a 1-and-1/2-year-old spayed female in need of an active home that is not looking for a protector, because I am quite the opposite of that. I am very affectionate, loving everyone, and family means everything to me. I do well with most other dogs, but will admit that there are a few of them here at the shelter that I am not too sure about. I do well with children, and lived in a household with another dog and four cats which were all my friends. I do fairly well on leash, but could use some additional practice. It's just that I get so excited every time someone takes me outside, that I have a tendency to pull until I have had a few minutes to take in all the sites. If you love to jog I would love to be your jogging partner. You would be so proud to have me by your side because I like to prance. I can show you if you come to visit with me! I just can't get enough of spending time with you. A home with a fenced in yard would be awesome because I LOVE toys and playing. I have not had formal obedience training, but I do know sit, down, I am crate-trained, and I can jump really high! I have been practicing this for a long time, and when I get excited I jump straight up in the air, not on you. Maybe you could teach me how to catch a Frisbee. I have lots of alert energy and I am always eager to learn new things. I am proud to say that I received top scores on all of my shelter safer tests. I am confident, I love to cuddle, and everyone here tells me that I am a wonderful girl so it must be true!
