Apollo Chihuahua Eau Claire, WI

Hi, my name is Apollo and I am a very handsome Chihuahua that was brought to the shelter as a stray. I am a sweet 4 year old neutered male that enjoys spending time on your lap, but I am also a bit timid and will need a home without small children. When I first arrived here I was super scared and in need of some loving care, which is exactly what was provided for me. A very nice person here at the shelter clipped my long overgrown nails, and I had a much needed dental; now I am feeling great and can't wait to be adopted into a loving home. I have not been taught all of the basic commands, but I do know sit, and I do keep my kennel clean, which is a good sign that I am most likely housebroken. There is nothing in the world that I love more than spending time with my special humans. I love being outdoors and going for nice long walks around the neighborhood - sniffing, and looking for anything that might be new to me. I am not very toy or food motivated because just being with you is a treat in itself. I will do best with an experienced Chihuahua owner as I can be protective of things like my treat Kong, or members of my family. I am currently spending time on a more quiet part of the shelter, so please ask to see me!
