Binx (at PetSmart ) Domestic Short Hair Eau Claire, WI

Binx is a large neutered male with a super soft and sleek black coat, highlighted by bright yellow/green eyes. He is very affectionate with his family, but is shy around strangers. Binx was surrendered to the shelter on 4/17/16. He is 5-and-1/2-years-old, and had lived in the same household for 5 years along with another cat that he loved dearly. One day, a new kitten was added to his family, and since Binx didn't like the new kitten, he was surrendered to the shelter. He is scared, hides, and is very sad about his predicament as he longs to be brought into a loving forever home soon. After all he has been through, he would especially welcome a quiet, peaceful home without children or dogs, where he can be the center of his human's world. That would be a dream-come-true! He tolerates other cats at the shelter, but is not fond of them, so we are not sure how he will do in a home with other cats that he has not grown up with. Binx will need a patient home that will understand his need for extra time to adjust to a new life. He is confident in your arms, and loves to spend time on your lap being petted. He is talkative and loves to play with wand-toys that have a human attached to the other end. If you are having a busy day, he is happy to play with catnip mice or cat toy balls that jingle. Binx will surely be a cherished companion in the right home. Binx is currently enjoying time being fostered at PetSmart, 4142 Commonwealth Ave., Eau Claire, WI.
