Pear (lap cat) Domestic Medium Hair Eau Claire, WI

Pear is a very petite and endearing 2 year old spayed female that was brought to the shelter as a stray on 4/14/16. She has very unique markings to her black and white coat that is highlighted by lovely green/gold eyes. Sweet, shy, and a bit wary of her current environment, Pear has been spending a great deal of her time hiding in a box that she has claimed as her safe spot. Although reserved at first, she is really very affectionate. Please stop over to visit with her when you have extra time to do so, because the longer you spend time petting and talking to her, the more comfortable she becomes, and you won't want to miss watching her blossom into her true personality right before your eyes. She may start out rolling herself up in a tight ball, but with a soft voice and gentle touch, she soon starts stretching out, and her paws start to knead. Before you know it, you will start to hear her purr and will feel her desperation for a quiet and loving home where she will always feel safe. Pear is a lap cat and loves to have her belly rubbed. When you watch her go from box-kitty to opening herself up for belly rubs at the shelter, you will suddenly understand what a fantastic companion she would be in the comfort of a real home, and she is sure to give you that warm and fuzzy feeling inside that we all long for. Your heart will melt and you will know that she was meant to live with you forever. Pear will be a wonderful companion for a quiet household.
