Yoda Norfolk Terrier Eau Claire, WI

Hi There! My name is Yoda, and I think that I am just about the cutest dog on the planet! I am a 1-and-1/2-year-old neutered male Norfolk Terrier. The best part of my day is when I see someone heading towards my kennel with a leash in hand ready to take me for a good walk or a short run. I am calm, easy-going, polite on leash, and always ready for an adventure, and the excitement of checking out what is new in the neighborhood. My breed is among the smallest of the working Terriers and is known as a big dog in a small package. I am one handsome guy, so we are sure to turn a lot of heads as you proudly take me for daily walks. My wiry coat is easy to care for as it will only need combing a couple of times a week, but I will need stripping of the dead hairs three or four times a year. I will do great in a home with a fenced in yard, but please keep in mind that I may try to escape and that I am VERY good at it, so you may want to be with me when I am out there. I can be a bit apprehensive with some strangers and children at first, but I warm up quickly. I have not been around cats, but my previous home had another dog and we did extremely well together. I will need a home without young children as I am a bit food aggressive, but older children would be fine as long as everyone knows that I must be left alone while eating. Having me on a feeding schedule twice a day works great. I am a happy little barrel of fun and will surely put a smile on your face every day. I am a lovable boy in need of patience, love, and additional training. I have not had formal obedience training, but I do know sit, so that's a good start. I love to cuddle, I love to play, and I would love to become your new best friend.
