Blue Eyes Domestic Short Hair Eau Claire, WI

Blue Eyes is a wonderful 1 year old neutered male that was surrendered to the shelter because his previous owner simply had too many cats. His eyes are a gorgeous light green and not blue at all like his name suggests. His previous owner most likely named him when he was a very young kitten not knowing that all kittens have blue eyes (some much more blue than others) and that their eye color usually changes until they are about 3 months of age, although it can take up to a year before the true adult hue is reached. Blue Eyes has a soft tuxedo coat with a unique white chin. Blue Eyes loves to play, and especially loves small furry catnip mice that he can easily carry around and toss into the air. Make sure that you do not offer this cat yarn or string toys as he likes to eat them. He is good with other cats, dogs, strangers and children. He LOVES attention, but if you are having a busy day he is also independent enough to be happy with playing on his own. Blue Eyes was VERY scared when he first arrived at the shelter, but has come a long way since then. He will do best in a loving home that has at least one other cat for him to play with - since he was born into an environment that had many cats, this is what he was used to.
